Court Proceedings and Alternatives

You don’t necessarily need to go to court to resolve a dispute – we will advise you on your options.

Court proceedings are perhaps the most common and obvious way of resolving a partnership dispute. However, there are other options available, and they may be more suited to your case.

In some cases, partnership agreements may require the partners to first pursue alternative means of resolving a dispute such as arbitration or mediation. Alternatively, the partners may choose to try and resolve their dispute using one of the alternative forms of dispute resolution in the hope of avoiding the cost and formality of court proceedings.

Even where court proceedings are started, very few cases ever get to a final hearing as many disputes are resolved outside of court. As experienced litigation lawyers, we have the expertise to advise you on all of the available options and what would be the best way forward in your particular case.

Throughout, we will work to ensure you resolve your dispute as quickly and as cost-effectively as possible whilst achieving your aims. If that does ultimately mean dealing with the case through to a court hearing then we can be there with you, fighting your case with you every step of the way.
